Quick maths quiz - if your business grows at an even 10% per year, how long will it take to double in size (ie, grow 100%)?
If you answered 10 years (the most common response) then you'll be pleasantly surprised to know it will actually only take a little over 7 years. That's the benefit of compounded growth.
Now let's say your business did actually grow by that magically consistent 10%, and doubles its turnover. What impact would that have on profit - would it also Double? Triple? Halve? What about your Cost base? Staff numbers?
As business coaches, we take the time to help you develop those numbers moving forward. And our experience is that taking the time to forward plan your growth will compound profit as well.
Are you forward thinking about when the next growth opportunity will be right for you?

The Man who Shook up Vegas
Speaking of interesting and relevant, here's an individual who found maths interesting ... and then built a relevant business selling hot tips on college football games. Tip #1 - make sure you win most of the time.
Rose Bowl Prank of 1961
Speaking of maths and football, the two were also combined in this classic hoax. In fact, punking this televised event makes it one of the 10 Greatest College Pranks, a list which (relevantly) also included Australia's own Fake Torch Relay in Sydney, 1956.
Making Money with Free Software
And here's one from the literal world - this man actually used open source software to create a new Dutch coin. Here he tells his meticulous tale.
Intranet Joke of the Week
A man, down on his luck but admiring the size of creation, begins a dialogue with God.
"God," he says, "How long is a Billion years to you?"
"A Billion years is but a second to me," God replies.
"And God," the man continues, "How much is a Billion dollars to you?"
"A Billion dollars is but a penny to me," God answers.
Thinking this through, the man decides to test his fortune.
"God," he asks one final time, "Do you think you could give me a penny."
"Sure," says God. "Just give me a second."
Until next week,
