Charles de Gaulle famously stated of his beloved France that it was near-impossible to "govern a country which has 246 varieties of cheese".
 
I wonder how many business owners are currently trying to oversee an organisation which is trying to implement 246 "great ideas"?
 
Much like a fine French cheese, individually these ideas are beneficial. But without focus, trying them all at once is like a 246-cheese-milkshake: stinky!

You don't get to define Quality
'Quality' is an important aspiration for many businesses, but ultimately how you define quality is irrelevant. Only your clients can define what quality is for them.

How to create deep customer loyalty
Client loyalty directly relates to your profit. I would add a Step 6 - when listening to your clients, look for product extension opportunities. If they receive more, better services from you then loyalty will follow.
 
Pun for the Ages
If you think the Business Links jokes are bad, you should meet me in person. Oh how I love a good pun, the lowest and most groveling form of wit.

Proof that I'm pun for all ages - an article on nappies in an email on smell (and, I might add, about a successful business that analyses everything through the filter "what is the most perfect thing we could do for Mom?")

Intranet Joke of the Week
 
My local newspaper once ran a competition asking readers to send in their best puns. Naturally, I compiled my favourites, and entered the competition ten times.
I was really hopeful one of my entries would win.
But alas - no pun in ten did.
