What are you looking at?

Recent guests at our Brisbane, Australia workshops, along with other observant Queensland locals, would be familiar with a nearby piece of public art that declares "The more I think about it, the bigger it gets".

The comment represents the reality that what we focus on is what we create. Believe there's never enough money? Chances are you'll create the evidence to support your belief.

Focusing on the abundance of opportunity this year will provide? Then you will go forth and seize that opportunity.

So. What are you thinking about right now?

(With thanks to Verge for the artwork's back story)

The Value of Being
Would you rather experience "peace, joy and fulfillment" in your daily life? (wouldn't we all?) Guess where you have the chance to focus?

Critical Information Sheet
This links to a practical (nay, critical) document for any business owner - it's almost an 'In Case of Emergency' form for your business. If you have difficulty completing it in less than an hour, then it would likely take somebody else weeks or months to catch up if something happens.

No-one watches that
Nothing for you to watch on TV? Spare a thought for those TV programs that go to air with nobody watching them.

Guerilla Public Service
The story of a fake freeway sign - let's call it public art on a mission - that became a real public service.

Intranet Joke of the Week

A man being mugged by a pair of low-lifes puts up a tremendous fight - kicking, punching and screaming for almost forty-five minutes before he is finally subdued. Feeling smug, one of the thugs grabs the guy's wallet, only to discover all it contained were a few one-dollar coins.

"Why on earth would you fight that hard over two dollars?" he asks.
The man looks dumbfounded. "All you wanted was the few dollars in my wallet? Boy, I would have given that to you.  "I thought you were after the $200 hidden in my shoe!"

Until next week,
