Size mustn't matter

In your business, who has the biggest workload? Chances are, it's you.
It could be that it's your own business (and your baby!). Maybe you're the 'martyr', always taking one for the team. And of course, nobody else can do this task as well as you!
A bulging to-do list rarely leads to bulging business success. There are 3 reasons for a too-big workload:
- Dysfunction - when successful business grow, but don't implement simple agreements to ensure that the right people are doing the right job at the right time
- Growth Fears - when uncertainty about how best to grow means no decisions are made, and no delegation occurs
- Diminishing Energy - when the 2-3 current source priorities aren't clear, we babysit every monkey that comes along
Thankfully, none of these are a Godzilla size problem. Decide which one/s apply to you, then ask Shirlaws how you can turn it around.
A big year of loving business
One of our source priorities is Exposure, so we're supporting Shirlaws Australia on Twitter. You don't have to register to be involved - have a look at email updates, or bookmark this page and check in often.
Intentionally Rolling a Jumbo Jet (video)
If your business has big plans that may seem radical to others, remember Tex the pilot - he rolled a Boeing 707 to demonstrate capability (and sell more planes!).
Oops, I ordered a $2,000 bottle of wine
What do you do when you discover that wine you guzzled was $2,000 a bottle? And what do restaurants do to prevent mistakes from happening?

When size does play a role, remember that love overcomes sadness.
Intranet Joke of the Week
A man entering a corner store notices a massive sign declaring "DANGER. BEWARE OF DOG"
Being the mindful type, he approaches carefully, but only notices a tiny Lhasa Apso asleep on the floor.
"Is that the dog I'm supposed to beware of?" he asks the owner.
"Yup," says the owner, "That's Bruiser allright."
"But she's hardly a big, bad menacing dog. Why would you post that sign?"
"I'm not stupid," says the owner. "Before I put up the sign, people were always tripping over her."
Until next week,
