I flew to Vancouver, Canada to run the annual Spouses Conference for our US business. This is an event that allows the people that give us so much time and energy to ask all the questions that they may have about the business, help contribute to the strategy, build closer relationships with other spouses and also the coaches and staff within the business. It also develops their own levels of awareness of what we do by sharing in some of the training - thus taking the benefits into their families and friends etc.... It was a wonderful experience to be a guest from the UK, supporting in both a commercial and a cultural way.

When I got back to the UK I completed a few coaching sessions with clients - it is clear that both the Clients and Shirlaws are benefiting from the team approach to working together. In each case, I am finding myself having a clearly defined role - CEO / Exec coaching on both the strategic business issues and the personal issues that are impacting the ability of the CEO /Exec to achieve their outcomes. The rest of the team is providing the support to design and implement all the agreed programmes within the business. I have noticed that even the smaller clients are responding to this as it "changes" the energy within the coaching relationships by having other coaches involved. What a result!
