Richard has been a strategic coach with Shirlaws since 2002.  He works with a business's key stakeholders to identify and put in place solutions that will engage and energize the team as a whole. Richard has particular skills regarding communication, dealing with energy blocks and achieving alignment within the business.

During his time with Shirlaws Richard has assisted many clients from a broad range of industries including financial services, law, manufacturing, retail, engineering, real estate and music.

During a career spanning 26 years in the Pacifica Group, Richard's responsibilities embraced every aspect of Information Technology in a large Australian diversified manufacturing organisation. A global IT infrastructure project took him to several countries where he learned much about cultural differences and their impact on business.

Armed with a passion for helping others to achieve outstanding business outcomes, Richard moved to work as an independent management consultant and broadened his experience into a variety of industries ranging from financial services to local government.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Management.

He is married with three adult sons and has a broad range of other interests covering wine, music, sport and travel.
