John Hittler
John Hittler joined our Shirlaws Silicon Valley office in 2007 and brings an extensive background as a business owner and entrepreneur, running two firms in real estate and real estate financing. He also runs a private charitable foundation that benefits Russian orphans who look to gain a university education. His passion comes from helping people achieve the seemingly impossible.
John has coached entrepreneurs and business leaders from the United States, Canada and Europe since 2000. His expertise is bringing businesses and their managers to their highest achievement rates. Using the Shirlaws frameworks allows John to assist clients in bringing about changes that would otherwise not appear visible on the surface. These changes help the clients themselves, and the people those clients serve in the marketplace. Coaching clients to create large tangible results generates new passion to grow and succeed. With their new-found passion, clients then make a difference in their industry and with their families. John's ability to make a difference with people allows him to work with high-caliber clients in ways that bring them inspiration for new growth.
John holds a degree in economics and German from Georgetown University, but sadly, he was barred from becoming a practicing economist, because he was found to have a personality. He pursued entrepreneurial interests instead. He is married, has seven children and three grandchildren, all of whom bring great joy and lots of noise in the house. He lives in San Jose, California, and loves to cook (mostly because then he gets to eat), play golf, and do almost anything that is related to fitness and well being.
