Gordon joined Shirlaws in 2008.  He is an experienced business owner, consultant and coach with a passion for bringing clarity of purpose, a focus on delivery and increased energy and engagement to an organisation.

Working with business owners and managers he brings clarity by helping them to develop a vision for the business and themselves and developing realistic plans to achieve their goals and objectives.  He supports them in mobilising and managing their personal and organisational resources to create and sustain the energy and momentum required to realise their vision.

Prior to joining Shirlaws Gordon owned his own executive coaching business and has been a project manager and engineering consultant with a top five engineering consultancy.  Gordon started his career at London Underground and has worked on rail/light rail projects for the majority of his career for various public sector clients.

As well as being a professionally qualified coach, Gordon is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) and the Institute of Directors (IoD). He plays golf (would like to play more!), climbs regularly (indoors!), swims and circuit trains several times a week, rides his bike to work as much as possible and likes to entertain friends and family at his home in Brighton, where he lives with his wife and son.
