Chris joined Shirlaws in February 2007.  Whilst coaching from top to bottom within any business, Chris has built a specialty in working with mid-tier listed organisations on their leadership development and succession.  He coaches clients across a range of industries including Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Staffing and Marketing & Communications. 

Chris' lifelong passion has been contributing to people through assisting them achieve their personal and professional goals.  He brings a frank, factual approach to his coaching with clients and understands the critical importance of getting the right balance between cultural and commercial drivers in a business.

Prior to joining Shirlaws Chris ran one of Melbourne's leading financial services recruitment agencies, Spectrum Personnel, for eight years, growing the business from four staff to twenty with an annual turnover of $8M per annum.  Before moving into the recruitment industry he held State Sales Management and Account Management roles within the Medical Consumable industry with international brands Becton Dickinson and Kimberly Clarke.  His career to date has allowed him to understand the challenges that businesses face in delivering a customer centric solution that meets the customers' expectations first time, every time.

Chris is a passionate Tottenham Hotspur fan, happily married with two beautiful daughters and is constantly curious about the how and why of all things.  He holds a Bachelor of Science - Pharmacology & Immunology from Monash University, Melbourne.
