Gordon Bull

Gordon originally came to Shirlaws as our first UK client. Through this very special relationship he experienced significant benefits of business coaching for his own business and also for his clients.

The next logical step was to become a Shirlaws coach and to integrate the coaching skills not only in his own business but also into his client base.

Gordon has worked with many businesses in and around London and the South East since 1974.  During this time he has been through significant changes and helped clients prosper by applying his business knowledge and expertise. Gordon is familiar with almost every situation from start up to retirement and every eventuality along the way. This includes the strategic decisions business owners have to make around start ups, growth and decline, succession and successful retirement.

During this time he has developed a significant empathy with business owners and shares the passion and commitment it takes to own and run your own business.

As well as being a Shirlaws coach, Gordon is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and is still in a professional practice.  He coaches his own accounting business and a number of client companies in various industry sectors.

He loves being able to introduce additional skills into businesses to build long-term sustainable growth and value, relieve stress for the owners and bring balance to people's lives.

Gordon and his wife of 30 years, Diana, have raised four children in South Croydon where they have lived most of their adult lives. He has been a community governor at the local comprehensive school for over 10 years.  When not coaching, Gordon's main relaxations are good food and wine, family, friends, football, golf and badminton.
