Carlos joined Shirlaws in 2008.  He is an experienced business coach who works alongside his clients to guide their businesses and help them achieve long-term, sustainable growth. He works with mid-tier businesses and organizations across a range of industries including automotive, professional services, wireless, life sciences and transportation.  He is passionate about his clients' business and personal success, and he empathizes with the challenges of running a business, having founded CEO Velocity Inc., an executive performance firm based in southern California.

Prior to joining Shirlaws, Carlos enjoyed a successful executive career, holding various senior operational and talent acquisition roles.  At Vistage International, the world's leading CEO organization, Carlos was the Chief Recruitment Officer and primary revenue driver for the organization which grew from $70 million to $100 million in three years.  Prior to Vistage, he held key leadership roles at some of the finest US organizations, including PacifiCare Health Systems (now United HealthCare), McKesson and UPS.  He has a solid academic background with an MBA from The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine and a BA in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
