Dave joined Shirlaws in 2008 and loves working with business owners who care passionately about their business. He has the business background and experience to help clients fulfil their commercial and cultural dreams. Dave specialises in working with clients on growth strategies and driving business valuation. He will bring clarity and energy to business issues that are stifling growth.

Prior to joining Shirlaws, Dave gathered a lot of experience of the mid tier market place whilst developing new business for Unilever. As Licensing Director for Unilever in the UK he expanded Unilever brands into new markets by partnering with start up businesses and owner managed businesses. The energy found in these businesses had a major influence in Dave joining Shirlaws. He has a broad base of commercial experience at Director level with Unilever in Sales and Marketing, both in the UK and Europe. He also led a major SAP implementation in Birds Eye Wall's covering all aspects of a commercial organisation.

Dave lives in Ascot with his wife Denise and six year old son Alex. He enjoys many sports especially coaching and watching football, playing golf and racing cars.
