Andrew joined Shirlaws in 2007. He helps companies create environments where the owners and senior managers are able to focus on the strategic activities that drive long-term value into their businesses. He has great insight and brings clarity and perspective to situations that are seemingly complex. Andrew has a passion for building organizations where people feel empowered and energized in roles that are clear and where delegation and self-responsibility are encouraged.  He has extensive people management experience at all levels and enjoys helping individuals to develop both personally and professionally.

Before joining Shirlaws, Andrew ran his own company providing business advice and coaching to the SME sector. Prior to that he worked for Shell for 28 years, occupying management positions in countries across four continents. Through his wide experience he knows that clarity and keeping it simple are key to bringing about sustainable change in organizations of all sizes.

Andrew's interests include keeping fit and rural crafts. He is an active member of his local community.
