Pat joined Shirlaws as a coach in 2008, and is currently completing her Masters of Business Coaching. Pat's vision is to coach individuals in order to optimise their competencies and help them achieve at their highest level.  Her coaching focus is on behaviour changes that build self efficacy and belief in one's capabilities, which in turn translates into measurable improvement in organisational performance.

Pat was initially recruited from South Africa to start-up an international conference division for a global travel brand. Specialising further she joined a boutique Events Company in the role of General Manager where her responsibilities included increasing revenue through new business initiatives, improving client relationships, training and mentoring staff and creating the required organisational systems. Pat was then head- hunted by a division of the Flight Centre Group to support the integration of three newly acquired specialist Event Organisations into a single niche business.  During this time, Pat held a senior position within the Division's Executive Team and was personally responsible for overseeing its National Operations and Key Customer Retention Program as well as developing a suite of Integrated Client Services. In her various roles, Pat's corporate clients included Commonwealth Bank, MacDonald's, AMP, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Maritime Law Association, Mortgage Choice, Rentokil, Schwarzkopf, Jim Beam, and IBM.

Pat is married and a mother of two wonderful children. Pat loves travelling, going to the theatre and keeping fit.
