Neil Tuson
A creative writer and coach, Neil has more than twenty years of experience in corporate and personal development.
To date, Neil has trained and coached just under seven thousand people, specialising in the cultural aspects of communication, intent, and interpersonal issues. He ‘coaches the coaches' and has developed depth around some of the methodologies that are unique to Shirlaws.
Following a career in engineering sales and marketing in the USA he joined the Dale Carnegie Organisation, the forerunner of most of the world's training companies. Building a business for them in London he left to create his own coaching consultancy in 1996. He was a pioneer in the then emerging field of coaching. Sensing the trend towards business coaching he merged his interests with Shirlaws upon their launch.
He is also the author (as Neil James) of the International best seller ‘The A-Z of Positive Thinking' and has just published his second book, ‘The Freedom Tree'.
Neil has an honours degree in Engineering and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
