Rebecca is an experienced business coach to mid-sized organizations from a variety of industries, including professional services, financial services, technology and life sciences. She is exceptionally dedicated to her clients' business success and cares deeply about their personal fulfillment. Her insights into the complexities of managing a successful business and maintaining a balanced personal life draw from having built her own technology company of 100+ persons in 2001, while being an active mentor to younger men and women in the workforce.

Prior to joining Shirlaws in 2007, she held VP positions in high tech, financial services and biotech/life sciences companies. Rebecca has a track record of helping businesses produce strategic and sustainable results by improving their positioning, marketing/sales, business development and operations. She has also accelerated the growth of companies by leading mergers and acquisitions teams. Rebecca's management experience is extensive: she has advised large corporations, such as IBM, PacBell, Gulf&Western, and Genentech and has supported start-ups by coaching them through various stages of growth and developing their business plans to secure funding or launch new products.
