Rob joined Shirlaws USA in 2010 after an eventful career in the financial services industry that spanned 20 years. He brings a passion for business and a true appreciation for the challenges in managing organizations in an ever-changing environment.

Since beginning his work in the financial services industry in 1989, Rob has been committed to assisting advisors and companies with marketing, training and product design geared toward helping people achieve a secure retirement. He has worked with thousands of financial advisors in adapting their practices for retirement income planning and has helped several companies design annuity products and marketing campaigns as an industry consultant.

Rob has worked in organizations ranging from a few employees all the way through to the largest financial services company in the world (Regional VP of ING) and brings a fresh and innovative outlook to every project in which he takes part. His professional focus has been to help individuals and organizations plan for, and take advantage of, the demographic changes facing the marketplace - namely, the aging of our largest generations

His passions outside of work include cooking, most anything outdoors and playing soccer and piano, though usually not at the same time.

Rob graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Economics. He is also insurance licensed and securities registered.

Rob is married to his wonderful wife, Georgette and has two amazing sons, Jacob and Caden.
