Ben is passionate about helping people to grow their businesses.

His long term vision is to take the Shirlaws approach into the developing world and help sustainable enterprises and social entrepreneurs to scale their businesses globally.

After an early career in the media and entertainment industry, during which time he founded and built a business of 40 people earning over £1m in revenue, servicing clients such as Warner Brothers, BMW Williams F1, Colgate Palmolive and World Vision, as well as many smaller organizations, Ben switched industries in 2003. He then played an instrumental role in the online gambling boom of the mid 2000's, working for two of the world's biggest and most profitable gaming companies in senior business development roles.

Ben describes the pivotal moment in his career as coming in 2005 when he sat down for the first time as a client with his own business coach, thus beginning his fascination with personal and professional development. Ben joined the team at Shirlaws in 2009 after recognizing the business's unique contribution to each of these fields, and realising here was the place where he could best facilitate his clients highest potential.

In January 2011 Ben co-founded Shirlaws Team London with Ron Tanner, the chairman of the UK business. Ben works with clients of all sizes and at all stages in the business cycle, in and around London and as far afield as Moscow and California. He also speaks at events and gives coaching webinars for clients in 12 countries.
