Robin Th'ng

Robin specialises in executive coaching for CEOs, partners and directors supporting them to have clarity and focus in their business and personal life.  Robin enjoys working with people to change their behaviour, grow their business and improve their lives. He coaches a wide range of clients including fast growth clients in mid tier and corporate businesses in the professional and property sector. 

Robin joined Shirlaws UK in 2005, having worked in the education, research and professional services sectors within the construction and property industry for over 30 years.  His career began as a Research Fellow in ABACUS, University of Strathclyde where he developed the first generation of computer generated architectural software.

In 1978, Robin joined Holmes Partnership. Within two years he was invited to become a Partner and was elected Managing Partner in 1986. During his 17-year tenure the business grew to be one of Scotland's largest practices and the most successful architectural business in the UK.

He has a Bachelor degree in Architecture, an MBA and PhD and is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a registered mentor for Business Mentoring Scotland. 
                                                                                                                       
Robin was born in Malaysia, raised in Brunei and educated in Scotland.  He is fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin and six Chinese dialects.  Happily married with four grown children Robin balances his life with yoga, meditation, wind surfing, skiing, cooking and world travel.
