Ron is particularly interested in coaching individuals and management teams to raise performance through increased self-awareness and the development of effective relationships, both internally and externally. He specialises in the facilitation of the personal transition that accompanies business change and development. He has been an equity partner in Shirlaws UK since its inception in 2003.

Coaching is a long way from Chartered Accounting, which he was engaged in prior to joining Shirlaws but the skills he acquired there have enabled him to successfully coach both commercial and cultural frameworks to clients. He has also been involved in the personal development industry for over 20 years, both as a professional advisor and a participant.

Ron currently authors a monthly column on coaching clients for a number of professional business magazines under the nom de plume of "Tanner".
