Jacob joined Shirlaws in 2006 working on specific projects with clients across a broad industry base, including Construction, IT, Town Planning, Real Estate, Architecture, and Financial Planning.

Jacob's experience with company workflows and business operations allows him to address procedural and cultural blocks within businesses, freeing them to achieve their outcomes. He has developed a reputation for being able to co-ordinate and communicate details on both materials and systems, skills that allow him to quickly evaluate areas of strength and opportunities where quick change will deliver results.

Jacob has a Bachelor of Arts (English and History) and a Bachelor of Journalism both from University of Queensland, where he won the University of Queensland Journalism Prize.

It's not hard to convince Jacob to chill out - he once held a Guinness World Record for non-stop movie-watching - but he's equally keen on being an active part of the creative process, having been published in numerous media and featured in more than a dozen short films.
