Tony joined Shirlaws in 2005 as a founding Partner of Shirlaws USA. He is a dynamic presenter and is profoundly energized by coaching other business leaders to realize their full potential.

For over 10 years, Tony's enthusiasm for maximizing growth and success in mid-size businesses has focused executives and their strategy teams on their driving passions and purpose. His direct, honest approach focuses on educating clients, stretching them to identify strategic differentiation opportunities, and aligning their actions to support the realization of their Visions.

Tony's approach and style is sourced from his extensive entrepreneurial, design, and manufacturing background. Prior to Shirlaws, he founded and led several companies both in the for-profit and non-profit worlds. His "baby" though was Splinter Design, Inc., a world-class furniture and product design firm that he ran with his wife, Tamee. Originally, Tony worked as a design engineer for Saturn Corporation and then as a Silicon Valley product design consultant, contributing dozens of groundbreaking advancements to the fields of technology and consumer products, earning several patents.

Tony resides in San Francisco. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, is a certified mediator for the city of San Francisco, and an active volunteer for community-based organizations. Tony's favorite activities are snowboarding, Tae Kwon Do, and running, although he generally keeps in shape by chasing after his two young children.
